Selected Projects

From business launches to product development, these projects show how I turn ideas and moving parts into organized, actionable work.

Memphis Moisture

Founder-Owned Venture | Product Development & Launch

Memphis Moisture grew out of A Beauty Fetish, the beauty-services brand I founded while working in cosmetology. Before developing the products, I researched competing brands and investigated the proposed business name to help shape the brand’s direction.

I then managed the work from product research and formulation through sourcing, packaging, pricing, marketing, and fulfillment.

Project deliverables included:

  • Market research and comparisons of competing brands.
  • Preliminary brand-name availability research.
  • Product formulations and testing.
  • Ingredient and packaging supplier research.
  • Vendor comparisons and product costing.
  • Product labels and packaging designs.
  • Product pricing and marketing materials.
  • Vending-event participation and direct-sales setup.
  • Order fulfillment and shipping processes.
  • Expanded product offerings based on customer demand.
  • Hands-on workshops for making body butter, bath bombs, and scrubs.

As a solo, self-funded founder, I coordinated the research, development, purchasing, sales, and fulfillment behind the venture. I also piloted workshops as an additional offering before the pandemic interrupted in-person activities.

Outcome: I developed a multi-product line, shipped orders to customers across 12 states, and established a repeatable process for moving products from formulation to fulfillment.

Transportation Business Launch

Branding, digital setup, and launch coordination| Private Client Engagement

A startup non-emergency medical transportation company needed a complete brand identity and online presence before launching. I worked directly with the owner to clarify the business’s services and target audience, document requirements, and organize the deliverables into a practical launch plan.

Project deliverables included:

  • Logo and brand identity.
  • Letterhead, flyers and business cards.
  • Website built with search-engine optimization.
  • Facebook business page setup and optimization.
  • Initial Facebook advertising campaign.
  • Website analytics tracking.
  • Google Business Profile setup.
  • Final brand files, account access, and handoff documentation.

I sequenced the branding, website, and marketing work, managed client feedback and revisions, and maintained organized file versions throughout the engagement.

Outcome: The owner launched with a coordinated brand, a live website, active business profiles, and initial paid advertising—plus the documentation and access needed to maintain the presence independently. My engagement concluded with the launch and handoff; ongoing marketing management was outside the scope.

Childcare Startup Launch

Business setup and launch preparation| Private Client Engagement

A childcare startup founder needed support organizing business setup, digital infrastructure, and branding before launch. I coordinated the administrative steps, managed dependencies across outside agencies and providers, and developed the materials needed to establish the business’s presence.

Project deliverables included:

  • LLC formation documents and filing.
  • Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN).
  • D-U-N-S number.
  • State tax registration and tax-exemption documentation.
  • Virtual business-address setup.
  • Domain registration.
  • Business email and phone setup.
  • Logo and brand identity.
  • Business website.
  • Promotional flyer.
  • Final documents, account access, and client handoff.

I organized the work across business registrations, communication tools, and creative deliverables while keeping responsibilities clearly defined. Childcare licensing and inspections remained the founder’s responsibility.

Outcome: The founder received completed business-setup documents, dedicated communication tools, and a coordinated brand and online presence, with records and account access handed over for ongoing use.

Freight Dispatch Launch

Transportation Business | Private Client Engagement

An established trucking company was expanding into freight-dispatch operations and needed a separate business setup and federal operating authority before it could move forward. I coordinated the business-formation and launch work, organized the required steps, and kept the client informed as external agencies processed each requirement.

Project deliverables included:

  • Business-structure guidance and formation support.
  • Virtual business-address and business-email setup.
  • USDOT and MC-number application submission.
  • BOC-3 process-agent coordination.
  • A roadmap for permits, licensing, insurance, and bonding requirements.
  • A company logo.
  • Written status confirmation and documentation for the client’s records.

The work involved coordination across the client, FMCSA, a process agent, insurance/surety providers, and a virtual-mailbox provider. Because federal authority had a multi-week processing window, I set expectations early, tracked dependencies, and obtained documented status confirmation from FMCSA while the applications were pending.

Outcome: The client received USDOT and MC numbers, a dedicated business and digital setup, and a documented roadmap for the remaining compliance steps needed before beginning dispatch operations. Insurance procurement and bonding remained the client’s responsibility.
